It is the main supervisor control card dedicated for SSR-8 chassis, can be installed in the supervisor slot of SSR-8 chassis and supports 1+1 redundant hot standby deployment. Widely used for legacy enterprise core and backbone network spare replacement.

FunctionDGSRC-BA acts as the main control brain of SSR-8 chassis router. It is responsible for overall system management, switching fabric scheduling, routing table calculation, configuration distribution and line card health management. It supports static and dynamic routing protocols, ACL, QoS, multicast control and system-level fault alarm. It continuously monitors all line cards, power supplies and fan trays of the chassis, and synchronizes configuration and runtime status with the standby supervisor in redundant mode. Used for core backbone routing control of large enterprise campus networks.
