Function

EN-SLX-9030-48 is high-performance 1U leaf switch manufactured by Extreme Networks. It provides 48×10G downlink ports for servers and endpoints, and 4×100G QSFP28 high-speed uplink ports connecting to spine layer. SLX-OS natively supports EVPN and VXLAN for modern data center IP fabric. BMC enables remote lights-out management for unattended operation. Installation

Follow ESD protection procedure. Mount switch into standard 19-inch rack. Insert SFP+/QSFP28 transceivers and patch cables. Connect AC power cords. Access console or BMC OOB port for initial SLX-OS configuration, fabric, VLAN, EVPN/VXLAN and ACL policy setup. Verify port link status and environmental sensor readings after boot-up.
