Function

Summit X250e-24t is 1U stackable Fast Ethernet access switch for legacy enterprise campus. 24×10/100 copper ports connect desktop PCs and non-power network terminals. Two combo gigabit ports provide flexible uplink choice over copper or fiber. Dedicated SummitStack ports merge multiple switches into one management domain to simplify configuration. Supports 802.1X user authentication and hardware QoS for voice and video traffic. External redundant power connector improves network uptime. Widely used for old office, school and factory wired access layer spare replacement.

InstallationFollow ESD protection procedure. Mount switch to standard 19-inch 1U rack. Connect AC power cord. Insert SFP transceiver if fiber uplink is needed. Deploy SummitStack cable for multi-unit stacking. Access serial console port for initial ExtremeXOS configuration, set VLAN, ACL and QoS policy. Verify stack synchronization and port connectivity after power-up.
