FunctionX670V-48t is non-blocking wire-speed Layer3 10G combo switch. 44 fixed 10GBASE-T copper ports connect to servers or downstream switches; 4 combo ports can be selected for copper or fiber media. Rear VIM4 module delivers 40G high-speed uplink or stacking fabric. It supports static & dynamic routing,DCB(PFC/ETS/DCBX),VLAN,STP/RSTP/MSTP,LACP/MLAG,ACL,QoS and multicast routing. It monitors optical module DDM,port link state,system temperature,power and fan health, and sends hardware fault alarms. Used for data center ToR and enterprise aggregation networks.

InstallationMount the switch on standard 19-inch 1U rack. Install hot-swappable PSU and fan tray. Insert SFP/SFP+ transceivers and fiber cables if combo ports use fiber mode. Install VIM4 40G uplink/stacking module as required. Connect console port for ExtremeXOS configuration. Verify boot,port link and stacking function before commissioning.
