Function

VSP7254XTQ is high-density 2U 10G copper data center leaf switch. 48 10GBASE-T copper ports connect servers and hypervisor hosts over RJ45 cabling, 6 40G QSFP+ uplink ports interconnect to spine layer. It supports EVPN-VXLAN overlay network for cloud virtualization. MLAG eliminates single link failure between paired switches. MACsec provides encryption on 10G copper ports for secure server access. Redundant hot-swappable power supplies and fans guarantee continuous operation for 24/7 data center service. Widely used for virtualization data center, cloud computing and high-performance computing access layer.

InstallationFollow ESD protection procedure. Mount switch into standard 19-inch 2U rack. Install hot-swappable PSU and fan tray. Connect power and RJ45 / QSFP+ cables. Access console port for initial VOSS configuration, enable MLAG, EVPN-VXLAN and security policy. Verify fabric peering and port connectivity after power-up.
