Installation

Follow ESD protection procedure. Mount switch to standard 19-inch 1U rack. Install matching AC/DC power supplies and fan tray. Insert 1G SFP transceivers if fiber uplink required. Use Cat5e/Cat6 copper cables for gigabit terminals. Access serial console port for initial ExtremeXOS configuration, set VLAN, stacking, routing and QoS policy. Verify port connectivity and stack status after power-up.
