Function

X670-G2-48x-4q is non-blocking wire-speed Layer3 aggregation switch. 48 SFP+ ports connect to servers or downstream access switches; four QSFP+ ports provide 40G high-speed uplink or stacking,each port supports breakout to four 10G channels. It supports static & dynamic routing,DCB(PFC/ETS/DCBX),MPLS,VLAN,STP/RSTP/MSTP,LACP/MLAG,ACL,QoS and multicast routing. Built-in hardware PTP realizes high precision time synchronization. It monitors optical module DDM,port link state,system temperature,power and fan health, and triggers hardware fault alarms. Used for data center ToR and enterprise core aggregation networks.

Installation

Mount the switch on standard 19-inch 1U rack. Install hot-swappable PSU and three fan modules. Insert SFP+/QSFP+ transceivers and fiber patch cords. Configure QSFP+ ports for stacking or breakout 10G if required. Connect console port for ExtremeXOS configuration. Verify boot,port optical link,stacking and PTP timing function before commissioning.
