FunctionUV7A4 is non self-check ultraviolet flame scanner manufactured by Fireye. It detects ultraviolet flicker radiation from combustion flame and transmits flame signal to matched flame safeguard amplifier. This model does not support continuous real-time self-check; the burner control system verifies scanner integrity on every burner start and stop cycle. When flame extinguishes, flame signal disappears, burner system cuts fuel supply to eliminate explosion hazard. The integrated 4ft shielded cable simplifies field wiring. Widely deployed for industrial boiler and furnace flame continuous monitoring and spare replacement.

InstallationFollow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Mount UV7A4 onto burner sight port through 1/2 inch FNPT insulated coupling, align quartz viewing window toward flame. Keep lens free of soot contamination. Route 4ft shielded cable to MBPF flame amplifier module, strictly follow Fireye wiring schematic. Execute burner cycling test and flame signal strength check during commissioning.
