Function

4150KR is reverse acting pneumatic pressure controller manufactured by Fisher. It detects process pressure locally without power supply. Reverse action characteristic: higher process pressure reduces controller output air pressure to close valve. It stabilizes pipeline pressure for reverse requirement process application. It is widely used for self-operated pressure regulating loop.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Isolate process pipeline. Mount controller on pipe stand or actuator. Connect process pressure sampling line and instrument air. Run calibration and pressure stability test.

1/4"NPT process port, 1/4"NPT supply air & output air ports, mounting bracket, no LED indicators on 4150KR.

Diagnostic

Pressure unstable: Nozzle blockage or sensing element damage. No pneumatic output: Loss of supply air or relay fault. Setpoint drift: Spring fatigue or flapper wear.
