Function

DT4000 is heavy-duty smart digital valve controller manufactured by Fisher. It receives 4-20mA+HART setpoint signal, compares real valve stroke via non-contact magnetic sensor and adjusts pneumatic output pressure to drive actuator. Built-in online diagnostics can detect valve friction, packing wear and actuator air leakage for predictive maintenance. HART communication supports remote configuration and alarm monitoring. It provides reliable performance under high vibration working conditions.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Cut off instrument air and loop power supply. Install magnetic strip on valve stem, mount DT4000 assembly onto actuator bracket. Connect instrument air tubing and 4-20mA HART signal cable. Run auto-calibration and full stroke test. Restore air and power supply, verify HART communication and diagnostic functions.
