Fisher DVC-2000 is compact FIELDVUE smart digital valve controller. It adopts non-contact magnetic linkage-less feedback design, eliminates mechanical lever wear. Two-stage pneumatic amplification delivers fast response and low air consumption. Equipped with local LCD multilingual display and push-button operation. Optional I/O package provides limit switches and 4-20mA stem position transmitter. Widely used in oil,gas,chemical,power and pharmaceutical control valve loop.

Function

DVC-2000 is smart digital valve controller manufactured by Fisher. It receives 4-20mA+HART setpoint signal, compares with real valve travel via non-contact magnetic sensor and adjusts pneumatic output pressure to drive actuator. Built-in diagnostic monitors valve friction, dead band and actuator pressure. Local LCD supports on-site configuration without communicator. Optional limit switches and position transmitter provide valve status feedback. It reduces maintenance cost and improves control precision.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Cut off instrument air and electric signal. Install magnetic array on valve stem, mount positioner bracket on actuator. Connect instrument air tubing and 4-20mA HART signal cable. Run quick auto-calibration and full stroke test. Restore power and air supply, verify HART communication and valve diagnostic.
