Function

DVC6010 is smart digital valve controller manufactured by Fisher. It receives 4-20mA+HART setpoint signal, compares with real valve travel from non-contact magnetic sensor and adjusts pneumatic output pressure to drive actuator. It provides high positioning accuracy and online predictive diagnostics for valve and actuator health status. HART communication supports remote configuration,parameter reading and alarm monitoring. It reduces unexpected shutdown and maintenance expense.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Cut off instrument air and loop power. Install magnetic feedback component on valve stem, mount DVC6010 bracket onto actuator. Connect instrument air tubing and 4-20mA HART signal cable. Run auto-calibration and full stroke test. Restore air and power supply, verify HART communication and valve diagnostic results.
