Module Feature

F35C00HCHF8CH6PM8CP6PU8AWXX belongs to GE Multilin F35 series. It is a multifunctional feeder protection relay for low and medium voltage distribution feeders. The GE F35 relay integrates protection functions, electrical energy metering, event recording and fault oscillography. It supports overcurrent, earth fault, negative sequence overcurrent, voltage protection and breaker control. It has multiple digital inputs and relay outputs for status acquisition and trip control. Equipped with Ethernet and serial communication ports to connect SCADA system. Widely applied in power plant, petrochemical and water treatment distribution switchgear for feeder protection and real-time monitoring.

Working principle

The GE F35 relay samples current and voltage signals from current transformers and voltage transformers continuously. Internal CPU executes protection algorithms, compares measured values with setting thresholds. When fault condition is detected, it triggers trip output to open circuit breaker and record fault waveform and event timestamp. It uploads voltage, current, power and alarm information to upper monitoring system through communication channel.

Installation

Follow lockout-tagout safety procedure before handling. Cut off control power and CT/VT circuit power. Embed GE F35 relay into cabinet panel cutout and fasten mounting clips. Wire CT, VT, power supply and trip signal terminals. Download protection setting file and test protection logic before power on.

Diagnostic
