Module Feature

F35G00HKHF8LH6PMXXPXXUXXW7A belongs to GE Multilin F35 series. It is a multifunctional feeder protection relay for medium and low voltage power distribution feeders. This GE relay combines protective functions, power metering, sequence of event logging and fault oscillography. It supports overcurrent protection, earth fault protection, negative sequence overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage and circuit breaker control. Multiple digital inputs and relay outputs are available to collect field status and output trip/alarm signals. It supports Ethernet and serial communication interfaces to communicate with PLC, HMI and SCADA systems. Working principle

The GE F35 relay continuously samples current and voltage signals from CT and VT. The internal CPU runs protection algorithms and compares measured values with preset setting thresholds. Once a fault condition is detected, it activates trip relay to open the circuit breaker, meanwhile recording fault waveform, fault value and time stamp. Real-time electrical parameters and alarm messages are transmitted to upper monitoring system via communication ports.

Installation

Follow lockout-tagout safety procedure before operation. Cut off control power and isolate CT/VT circuits. Embed GE F35 relay into cabinet panel cutout and fasten mounting clips. Wire CT, VT, control power, trip and communication terminals. Download protection setting group and test logic before power commissioning.
