Module Feature

F35G00VFHF8FH6PM8HP67 belongs to GE Multilin F35 series. It is a multifunctional feeder protection relay designed for medium and low voltage power distribution feeders. This GE relay integrates comprehensive protection functions, electric energy metering, sequence of event recording and fault oscillography. It supports overcurrent, earth fault, negative sequence overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage and breaker control functions. Multiple digital input and relay output channels are available for equipment status collection and trip/alarm output. Equipped with Ethernet and serial communication interfaces to connect SCADA, HMI and PLC systems. Widely applied in power plants, petrochemical plants and water treatment low/medium voltage switchgear cabinets for feeder protection and real-time status monitoring.

Working principle

The GE F35 relay continuously samples current and voltage signals from CT and VT. The internal CPU executes protection algorithms and compares measured values with preset threshold settings. Once fault condition is detected, it activates trip relay to open circuit breaker, and records fault waveform, fault magnitude and time stamp. Real-time electrical data and alarm messages are uploaded to upper monitoring system via communication ports.

Installation

Follow lockout-tagout safety procedure before operation. Cut off control power and isolate CT/VT circuits. Embed GE F35 relay into cabinet panel cutout and fasten mounting clips. Wire CT, VT, control power, trip and communication terminals. Download protection setting group and verify protection logic before power commissioning.
