GE FVK363R Bus Plug Unit

Module Feature

FVK363R belongs to GE Flex-A-Power FVK busway series. It is a plug-in bus tap device for GE aluminum or copper busway system, 3-pole 3-wire configuration, rated 100A, max voltage 600VAC. This GE bus plug integrates molded case circuit breaker, which can directly supply power for branch loads such as motors and distribution feeders. The plug-in design allows installation and removal on live busway under safe isolation condition, convenient for branch power expansion and maintenance. Heavy-duty metal enclosure, strong mechanical rigidity and anti-vibration capability. Widely applied in factory low voltage power distribution, workshop power trunk system and industrial switchgear busway system.

Working principle

GE FVK363R bus plug is directly inserted onto GE Flex-A-Power busway. Internal contact realizes electrical connection with main bus. Built-in molded case breaker provides overload and instantaneous short circuit protection for downstream branch circuit. When overload or short circuit fault occurs, breaker trips to cut off branch load power, protecting cables and equipment. The plug mechanical interlock prevents insertion/extraction under load condition, ensuring operator safety.

Installation

Cut off upstream busway power and implement lockout-tagout before operation. Align GE FVK363R bus plug with busway guide rail, insert and lock the mechanical latch. Tighten downstream load cable lugs. Test breaker on-off operation and verify mechanical interlock function before power recovery.

Busway plug-in contact interface, load cable screw terminals, grounding terminal.

Diagnostic

Plug terminal overheating: poor plug contact or contact surface oxidation. Cannot insert or pull out: mechanical interlock stuck or busway deformation. Breaker trips frequently: branch circuit overload or short circuit fault.
