Product Function Description
IC693DNM200 is a dedicated DeviceNet master‑scanner communication module for GE Fanuc Series 90‑30 PLC platform.
This module acts as the DeviceNet network master station, responsible for scanning and managing all slave nodes on the DeviceNet bus. It realizes automatic cyclic data exchange between Series 90‑30 CPU and field‑level DeviceNet devices, including remote I/O modules, frequency converters, servo drives, sensors and valve actuators. Data from field devices is mapped to PLC internal memory for user program reading and writing.
It supports multiple I/O connection modes. Users can select poll, cyclic, strobe or COS mode according to real‑time requirements of field equipment. The RS232 service port is used for module firmware upgrade and local debugging diagnosis, no need to rely on the PLC programming port. Three front‑panel LED indicators intuitively display module running status and network communication status, helping maintenance personnel quickly locate network faults such as bus short‑circuit, node offline and baud‑rate mismatch.
The module only works on the main rack of Series 90‑30 PLC, and cannot be installed on expansion racks. The DeviceNet trunk‑drop topology needs to install terminal resistors at both ends of the bus to guarantee network stability. It is widely used for maintenance and spare‑part replacement of legacy GE Fanuc automation systems.
Product Details
Standard single‑slot plug‑in module for 90‑30 PLC rack, compact industrial‑grade hardware design, adapts to complex electromagnetic‑interference environment of workshop sites. This legacy DeviceNet master module has been discontinued by original manufacturer, mainly used for old‑equipment overhaul and spare‑part replacement. Please confirm CPU firmware version, bus terminal‑resistor installation and baud‑rate consistency of all nodes before commissioning. Strict ESD protection shall be adopted during installation.
