IC698CPE030 is a high‑performance VME64‑form‑factor CPU processor for GE PACSystems RX7i platform, adopting industrial‑grade Pentium‑M 600MHz microprocessor for heavy‑duty real‑time industrial control tasks.

This CPU module is equipped with 64MB battery‑backed RAM and 64MB non‑volatile flash memory. User programs, system configurations, register data and symbolic variables can be stored reliably. Memory allocation for program and data can be configured flexibly according to project requirements.

Rich communication interfaces are integrated on the front panel. Dual Ethernet ports support Modbus TCP, EGD and SRTP protocols for connecting HMI, SCADA and field controllers. RS232 and RS485 serial ports support Modbus RTU and SNP for serial‑device access. Built‑in web server and FTP function allow up to 16 connections for remote monitoring and firmware upgrade.

It supports multiple standard IEC programming languages and up to 512 program blocks. It is compatible with Series 90‑70 I/O modules and most third‑party VME64 modules.
