Product Function Description
UR8FH is the dedicated CT/VT acquisition expansion module for GE Multilin UR series universal relay platform。
This module directly connects to on‑site current transformer and voltage transformer secondary circuits, completes high‑precision sampling of three‑phase phase current, ground fault current and multi‑group AC voltage signals, and transmits the sampled raw data to UR main CPU through chassis backplane bus. It provides the basic analog‑signal source for differential protection, overcurrent protection, impedance protection, power‑measurement and power‑quality monitoring functions of UR‑series relays。
The module adopts plug‑in hot‑swap design, convenient for on‑site replacement and maintenance without modifying external CT/VT secondary wiring. It has built‑in over‑voltage and surge‑suppression protection, which can resist the interference of transient surges in power‑system secondary‑loop. It is widely matched with T60 transformer relay, G60 generator relay, B90 bus‑bar relay and other core UR‑series protection devices in power‑plant and substation sites。
It supports multi‑range CT secondary setting (1A/5A), users can configure CT rated value through relay software according to on‑site transformer parameters, no need to change hardware.
