Installation

Installation steps: Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Cut off encoder DC power. Install encoder onto tapered spindle shaft and fasten locking assembly. Connect shielded EnDat encoder cable to servo control unit. Restore power, verify LED indicators, run encoder signal test and spindle orientation calibration.
