It converts mechanical movement into analog sine/cosine signals for position interpolation. Reference mark signal is required for axis homing after power-up. Compact housing adapts to tight installation space. It is high precision linear measuring spare for heavy CNC boring mills.

Installation

Installation steps: Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Cut off encoder 5VDC power. Mount grating scale parallel to travel axis. Install LHC-05C-S scanning head on slide carriage, adjust air gap and parallelism. Connect shielded encoder cable to interpolation unit. Restore power, verify LED indicators, run signal test and axis homing calibration.
