Module Feature

EC350 is Honeywell Mercury Instruments gas electronic volume corrector, successor platform of Mini-Max and Mini-AT series. It calculates compensated gas volume based on pulse input from gas meter, pressure and temperature measurement. Built-in high precision pressure transducer, supports reverse flow detection, audit trail recording and firmware remote upgrade. Equipped with IR local configuration port, optional integrated cellular modem for telemetry data upload. Supports UMB bracket mounting, rotary meter mounting and wall mounting. Low power battery design, up to 10 years service life. Widely used in natural gas distribution station, industrial gas metering point for trade transfer measurement.

Working principle

The corrector receives pulse signal from flow meter, collects real-time gas pressure and temperature. Internal CPU calculates gas compression factor and converts operating condition volume into standard reference volume. It stores historical flow data, alarm events and audit logs, sends measurement data to host system via cellular or serial communication. It triggers alarm when pressure, temperature or flow status goes abnormal.

Onboard components

Main processing board, built-in digital pressure sensor, temperature sensing circuit, pulse input opto-isolation circuit, battery pack, IR communication module, cellular modem option, LCD display, local keypad, sealed aluminum enclosure.

Installation

Cut off meter and corrector power before operation. Fix Honeywell EC350 onto matched mounting bracket. Wire meter pulse signal, install pressure tap and temperature probe. Set gas composition, meter K-factor and communication parameters, verify pulse counting and volume compensation before commissioning.

Diagnostic

Battery low warning: replace internal lithium battery. Pulse count missing: meter pulse pickup fault or wiring break. Communication offline: cellular signal weak or modem fault.
