Module Feature

ERX350 belongs to Honeywell Mercury 350 series, sharing the same hardware platform as EC350 volume corrector. It is a battery-powered electronic pressure recorder dedicated for gas utility distribution network monitoring. It adopts plug-and-play high-precision digital pressure transducer, supports continuous pressure data logging, high-speed event capture for transient pressure surge and configurable pressure high/low alarm. It is equipped with IR local configuration port, optional integrated CloudLink cellular modem for wireless data upload. Long-life lithium battery design reduces site maintenance visits. Supports UMB bracket mounting, meter mount and wall mounting. Widely installed at district regulator stations, pipeline end points and low-pressure monitoring points of natural gas distribution networks.

Working principle

The built-in pressure transducer continuously samples pipeline gas pressure. The internal processor stores pressure readings at user-defined log intervals and monitors for out-of-limit conditions. When pressure exceeds alarm thresholds, the recorder generates event logs and triggers remote alarm transmission via cellular modem. Historical pressure data, audit trail and abnormal event records can be retrieved locally by IR or remotely through telemetry network.

Installation

Cut off pipeline pressure connection safely before operation. Fix Honeywell ERX350 on matched mounting bracket. Connect pressure tap port to gas pipeline isolation valve. Configure logging rate and alarm setpoints, verify pressure reading and wireless upload function before commissioning.

Diagnostic

Low battery alert: schedule battery replacement. Pressure reading zero or frozen: transducer damage or blockage at pressure impulse line. Remote transmission failure: weak cellular signal or modem fault.
