Honeywell PRO22ENC1 Access Control Cabinet Unit

Module Feature

PRO22ENC1 is Honeywell PRO2200 series wall-mounted enclosure for modular access control system. It can accommodate maximum 9 pieces of PRO2200 / PRO4200 series modules including main controller board, reader modules, relay output modules and alarm input modules. This cabinet does not come with built-in power supply and backup battery, these items need to be purchased separately. It is equipped with tamper switch for cabinet opening alarm, internal DIN rail and mounting space for power unit and battery. It supports daisy chain connection via PRO22DCC cable. Widely used in office, factory, commercial building access control security system.

Working principle

It provides mechanical protection and fixed installation space for access control electronic modules. The built-in tamper switch connects to alarm input channel of controller. Once cabinet door is opened illegally, tamper signal will be sent to access controller and trigger alarm event. All internal modules communicate through RS485 bus inside the cabinet.

Onboard components

Metal cabinet shell, cabinet door, tamper detection switch, internal mounting brackets, wiring channel, lock set.

LED indicators

No onboard LED indicators. All status LEDs are located on the installed control modules.

Hardware self-diagnosis

Cabinet tamper detection, power supply voltage monitoring (depends on matched PSU).

Programming software

Honeywell WIN-PAK security management software, used for access rule configuration, card management and alarm monitoring.

Installation

Cut off power of access control system before operation. Fix Honeywell PRO22ENC1 cabinet firmly on solid indoor wall. Install controller and expansion modules inside cabinet, wire tamper switch, power harness and RS485 daisy chain cable. Lock cabinet door after wiring inspection.

Interface

Tamper signal terminals, internal module bus wiring space, power wiring space.

Diagnostic

Tamper alarm triggered: cabinet door unlocked or tamper switch wiring loose. Module communication unstable: poor daisy chain cable connection or insufficient cabinet ventilation.
