Module Feature

NFS-3030 belongs to Honeywell Notifier ONYX fire alarm system platform. It is a large-capacity intelligent addressable fire alarm controller. It supports up to 10 SLC signaling line circuits, each loop can connect smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points and control modules. It adopts FlashScan high-speed communication protocol, fast alarm response. Supports NOTI-FIRE-NET inter-networking, multiple panels can form a regional fire alarm network. It has configurable NAC notification output circuits, relay alarm outputs, event log storage and password access management. Modular rack structure, compatible with a full range of Notifier fire accessories. Widely used in airport, hotel, shopping mall, industrial plant and high-rise building fire safety system.

Working principle

The panel sends polling signals to all addressable devices on SLC loops. Detectors upload smoke, temperature and fault status back to the main controller. When fire condition is identified, the panel triggers audible and visual alarm, activates notification appliance circuits and linkage control outputs. It records alarm time, device address and fault events into internal memory, and can send status data to graphic workstation via communication interface.

Onboard components

Main CPU control board, SLC loop interface modules, NAC drive circuit, power supply unit, LCD display and keypad assembly, network communication board, status indicator array, backplane rack.

Installation

Cut off panel power before operation. Mount Honeywell NFS-3030 cabinet on solid indoor wall. Wire SLC loops, notification circuits, power supply and network cables. Enroll field addressable devices, configure zone and linkage logic, perform alarm and trouble test before commissioning.

Interface

SLC loop terminals, NAC output terminals, AC power terminals, network communication port, alarm relay terminals.

Diagnostic

Loop trouble alarm: SLC wiring short or open circuit, device address duplicate. No sounder output: NAC circuit overload or wiring fault. Communication offline: network switch failure or network configuration error.
