Function

T8471C serves as high integrity 32-channel 120V digital output unit of Trusted TMR SIS. It executes TMR 2oo3 hardware voting logic to output safety trip signals for high voltage final safety elements. Each channel continuously monitors open circuit,short circuit and overload faults. It supports hot swap replacement without shutting down the safety expansion rack.

Installation

Insert T8471C vertically into dedicated I/O slot of T8300/T8314 expander chassis. Connect field high voltage solenoid and relay wiring to terminal assembly. Verify output status and fault alarms via Trusted Workbench engineering software.
