Feature & Principle

This passive reluctance sensor relies on electromagnetic induction. When gear teeth sweep the probe tip, it generates sine AC pulse signal, signal frequency corresponds to shaft rotational speed. The turbine control unit calculates speed value and executes overspeed trip interlock.
