Module Feature

PVWH15LSAYCNSN belongs to Oilgear PVWH series open-loop variable displacement axial piston pump. It is specially engineered for low-viscosity hydraulic fluids such as water-glycol, phosphate ester and other fire-resistant fluids which easily cause wear on conventional piston pumps. It adopts robust swashplate variable design, built-in pressure compensator control to maintain constant system pressure automatically. High load capacity, heavy-duty bearing set and optimized porting structure reduce cavitation risk. It supports flexible control options including pressure override, remote pressure control. Widely used in metal forming presses, steel mill rolling equipment, offshore hydraulic units and heavy process machinery.

Working principle**

Rotating cylinder block drives pistons reciprocate along the swashplate angle. Changing swashplate angle alters piston stroke length, which changes pump displacement and output flow. The pressure compensator valve senses discharge pressure and adjusts swashplate angle automatically. When system pressure reaches set value, pump displacement reduces to hold steady pressure. Pistons slide within cylinder bores, fluid enters through suction port and discharges from pressure port continuously.

Onboard components

Drive shaft, cylinder barrel assembly, piston and slipper set, swashplate, pressure compensator control valve, bearing assembly, pump housing, suction and discharge port flange.

LED indicators

No onboard LED indicators. System status is monitored by external pressure transmitters and control panel.

Hardware self-diagnosis

External pressure monitoring, oil contamination inspection, case drain flow check for internal wear diagnosis, temperature monitoring.

Programming software

No configuration software, pump parameters are set mechanically via compensator adjustment screw.

Installation

Shut down hydraulic power and relieve system pressure before installation. Mount Oilgear PVWH15LSAYCNSN pump firmly on rigid base. Connect suction line, pressure discharge line and case drain line. Prime pump and adjust compensator pressure setting, test no-load and loaded operation.

Suction port, pressure discharge port, case drain port, SAE drive shaft flange.

Diagnostic

Pressure cannot build up: internal piston-slipper assembly wear or insufficient suction supply. Noise and cavitation: suction line blockage or insufficient suction pressure. Pressure unstable: compensator valve contamination or stuck spool.
