OPTIMATION OL0001 Liquid Level Sensor

Module Feature

OPTIMATION OL0001 is a compact optical liquid level sensor. It uses infrared optical reflection principle to detect liquid presence without mechanical moving parts. Fast response, resistant to most wet process chemicals, compact footprint for panel integration. Widely used for fluid tank level monitoring in semiconductor wet bench and chemical delivery systems.

Working principle: Infrared light emits to the prism tip. When liquid covers the tip, light refracts into liquid; when air, light reflects back to internal photodetector, triggering switch signal. Function

OL0001 optical liquid level sensor manufactured by OPTIMATION. It monitors liquid level and provides digital switch signal for fluid system interlock. Prism surface fouling or chemical coating will cause false trigger or detection failure. It is reliable fluid level detection component for semiconductor wet process equipment.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Isolate chemical pipeline and drain residual fluid. Mount sensor probe into tank or pipeline, route signal cable. Test dry and wet detection function before production startup.

Diagnostic

False level reading: Prism surface chemical contamination. No switching response: Power loss or optical element damage. Signal intermittent: Cable wiring loose. Chemical leakage: Thread seal aging.
