Module Feature

OPTIMATION OP-620 belongs to OptiMate series human machine interface operator terminal. It is equipped with 2 line × 20 character LCD display, 5 customizable function keys plus 5 menu navigation keys, supports multi-layer menu tree configuration. Stores up to 160 predefined alarm and status messages. Single DB15 serial port supports RS232 / RS422 communication, panel cutout mounting design, front face NEMA4 / IP66 protection. Widely used in semiconductor wet bench and chemical delivery control cabinet for process monitoring and manual operation.

Working principle: The panel communicates with PLC or OptiLogic RTU via serial bus. It reads real-time process variables and alarm data to display on LCD. Operator key inputs are transmitted back to host controller to modify setpoints or trigger manual commands. Custom key label inserts can be installed on front panel. Function

OP-620 operator terminal manufactured by OPTIMATION. It acts as HMI between operator and control system. Membrane keypad aging or serial communication parameter mismatch may lead to key failure or no data display. It is robust operator panel for wet process chemical delivery automation cabinet.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Power off control system. Secure panel into cabinet cutout with mounting studs. Connect 24V DC power and DB15 serial cable. Download configuration project and test communication function before production startup.

Diagnostic

Blank LCD: Power supply failure or display damage. Key no response: Membrane keypad wear. No PLC data: Serial baud rate mismatch or wiring fault. Intermittent communication: Loose DB15 connector.
