Module Feature

OPTIMATION OM-1510 belongs to OptiMate series human machine interface operator terminal. Equipped with 2 line × 20 character LCD display, full numeric keypad, 2 custom function keys plus multi-layer menu navigation keys, 3 front panel LED status indicators. It can store up to 160 predefined alarm and process messages, supports layered menu configuration. Serial communication interface supports RS232 / RS422 multi-drop bus. Panel cutout mounting, NEMA4 / IP65 front protection. Widely used in semiconductor wet bench and chemical fluid delivery control cabinets for process value display, parameter input and alarm monitoring.

Working principle: OM-1510 communicates with host PLC or OptiLogic RTU via serial bus. It reads real-time process variables and alarm status to LCD screen. Operator keypad inputs are transmitted back to controller to modify setpoints or trigger manual operations. Custom paper label inserts can be installed on front panel for function key marking. Function

OM-1510 operator terminal manufactured by OPTIMATION. It provides local HMI operation for wet bench process control. Incorrect baud rate or bus termination resistor missing will cause communication timeout. It is field operator interface for chemical delivery automation cabinet.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Power off control cabinet. Fit panel into cutout and fasten mounting clamps. Wire 10-30VDC power and RS422/RS232 serial cable. Download project via OP-WINEDIT and test keypad & display before production startup.

Diagnostic

No serial communication:Baud rate mismatch, wrong wiring or missing bus termination resistor. Blank LCD:Power loss or backlight failure. Key no response:Membrane keypad wear. Message garbled:Noise interference without shielded cable.
