Products Description

Sanyo Denki 103H8581-70XE4 Stepping Motor

Module Feature

Sanyo Denki 103H8581-70XE4 belongs to SANMOTION F5 series five-phase high-torque hybrid stepping motor. It adopts optimized hybrid magnetic circuit structure, small 0.72° full step angle, outstanding low-speed torque output, low vibration and low running noise. Robust 86mm square flange housing with excellent shock and vibration resistance. Widely applied for heavy-load precision positioning axes in semiconductor automation, inspection equipment and industrial automation machinery.

Working principle

The matched five-phase stepping driver outputs sequential pulse current to each phase stator winding. Alternating magnetic field drives the hybrid rotor to rotate at fixed step angle according to input pulse command, realizing open-loop position control. Position is determined by pulse counting without feedback sensor. Internal thermal protection limits winding current when overtemperature occurs to prevent motor burnout.

Onboard components

Hybrid rotor, multi-phase stator winding, front and rear bearing set, metal motor housing, shaft oil seal, five-phase power terminal connector.

LED indicators

No onboard LED indicators; working status and fault codes are displayed on matched SANMOTION F5 stepping driver panel.

Hardware self-diagnosis

Visual inspection of motor housing, shaft surface and connectors; winding continuity and insulation resistance test; bearing noise inspection; wiring verification test with matched stepping driver.

Programming software

Sanyo Denki SANMOTION setup software for driver parameter configuration, microstep setting and fault diagnosis.

System compatibility

Compatible with Sanyo Denki SANMOTION F5 series five-phase stepping drivers to form complete open-loop high-torque precision positioning motion system.

Function

103H8581-70XE4 stepping motor manufactured by Sanyo Denki. It converts pulse command signals into mechanical rotary power to realize accurate angle and linear positioning for automation motion axes. Overload, wiring error or winding damage will cause step loss or motor overheating. It is heavy-duty high precision power actuator for semiconductor and industrial automation equipment.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Cut off all power supply completely. Fix motor via flange mounting, align coupling properly to avoid radial and axial overload. Connect multi-phase power cable to SANMOTION F5 stepping driver. Set micro-step and current parameters via SANMOTION software, perform trial run and positioning verification before formal operation.

Interface

Five-phase winding power terminal, motor housing of 103H8581-70XE4.

Diagnostic

Motor no rotation: No power supply, wrong phase wiring or driver hardware fault. Step loss: Insufficient torque, mechanical jam or excessive acceleration. Abnormal noise: Phase wiring error, bearing wear or mechanical resonance. Overheat: Excessive current setting, continuous heavy load operation. Insulation fault: Damaged stator winding or cable insulation aging.
