Module Feature

Sanyo Denki PQM0A300EXXXST belongs to SANMOTION PQM series modular multi-axis digital servo amplifier. AC200V input, rated capacity 3.0kW. It adopts high speed RS485 serial bus control interface, supports multi-axis synchronous motion control, electronic cam and interpolation function. Equipped with current and speed dual closed-loop control, fast response and excellent anti-vibration performance. Supports position, speed, torque three control modes. Built-in comprehensive protection functions including overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overheat, overload, encoder fault and emergency stop protection. Modular rack mounting design, multiple axes share the same power supply unit, saving cabinet installation space. Widely used for multi-axis high precision motion system in semiconductor wet bench and chemical delivery automation equipment.

Working principle: The servo amplifier receives motion command via high speed serial bus from upper motion controller. It converts DC bus power into three-phase variable frequency AC power to drive matched P series servo motors. Real-time encoder position and speed feedback signal is sent back to drive, high speed digital closed-loop calculation is executed to adjust output current to realize precise multi-axis synchronous positioning. When fault detected, the amplifier will cut off power output immediately and send alarm information to host controller.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Power off the whole servo rack system. Install servo amplifier into rack frame and reserve heat dissipation clearance. Wire DC bus cable, motor power cable and encoder feedback cable. Connect serial communication cable and emergency stop circuit. Configure parameters via SANMOTION software, perform axis jog test and multi-axis synchronization verification before formal operation.
