The Schneider Electric STBNDP2212 is the standard PROFIBUS DP network interface module for the Modicon Advantys STB distributed I/O island.

It links the STB I/O bus to a PROFIBUS DP master over a 9-way female RS485 SUB-D shielded twisted pair, supporting DP V.0 structure.

Transmission up to 12 Mbit/s over 0-200 m; 9.6 kbit/s over 0-4800 m with 3 repeaters; up to 125 slaves, 0-32 addressable I/O modules per island.

It supplies the 5.25 VDC logic bus to STB modules with SELV 24 VDC input and carries read/write DP slave I/O data plus diagnostics.

It mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail as spare replacement in remote I/O cabinets.
