Module Feature

WA4AAR74A3SGFFXXAA belongs to Schneider PowerPacT air circuit breaker family.

It is 4-pole drawout type with integrated Micrologic electronic trip unit supporting LSIG protection functions including long-time overload, short-time delay, instantaneous short-circuit and ground fault protection. It comes with built-in power metering and event logging, and supports shunt trip, auxiliary switch and communication modules as optional accessories. It is widely used in data centers, heavy industrial power centers and building main distribution cabinets.

Working principle

Built-in current transformers sample current signals of L1, L2, L3 and neutral pole simultaneously.

When fault current exceeds the preset threshold, the trip unit releases the stored-energy operating mechanism to open all four poles and isolate the fault circuit. Real-time electrical data and fault events can be uploaded to upper power monitoring system with communication accessory installed.

Onboard components

Main contact assembly, arc extinguishing chamber, current transformer group, Micrologic electronic trip unit, drawout carriage, auxiliary contact block, status indicator and optional communication board.

LED indicators

Front LEDs indicate power supply status, trip alarm, spring charged state and communication link status.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Built-in supervision detects trip unit power loss, CT circuit failure, internal over-temperature and communication interruption. Fault information can be viewed via EcoStruxure Power commissioning software.

Programming software

Schneider EcoStruxure Power Commissioning Tool, used for protection curve setup, metering configuration and fault record analysis.

Installation

Insert the drawout carriage into the matched switchgear compartment.

Tighten L1/L2/L3/N busbar terminals, test racking interlock, closing/opening and protection function before energizing.

Interface

Primary L1/L2/L3/N bus terminals, secondary control and auxiliary signal terminals, communication port.

Diagnostic

Unintended tripping: Improper LSIG parameter setting, CT wiring error or transient circuit interference.

Failure to close: Discharged spring, missing control power or active interlock signal.

Communication offline: Damaged network cable, IP conflict or defective communication module.
