Module Feature

6SL3210-1NE31-5UL0 is PM230 power module of Siemens SINAMICS G120 series.

It works with CU240B/E-2 or CU230P-2 control unit, supports induction motor V/F and vector speed control. It is unfiltered design without built-in EMC filter. This model is widely used for conveyor, fan, pump and general industrial speed regulation.

Working principle

Three-phase AC is rectified to DC bus, internal IGBT unit outputs adjustable PWM AC to motor.

The power module executes power conversion, and protection logic is completed by matched control unit. It provides protection of overcurrent, over-temperature, bus overvoltage and phase loss.

Onboard components

Rectifier bridge, IGBT inverter unit, DC bus capacitors, current sampling circuit, cooling fan, power terminal block, control unit interface.

LED indicators

Front LEDs display power status, ready signal and fault alarm.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Power-on self-test and continuous monitoring detect over-temperature, bus deviation and power unit fault, fault codes are read via control unit.

Programming software

Starter, used for parameter setting, motor auto-tune and fault diagnosis.

Installation
