Module Feature

6SL3352-1AE41-0FA1 is a phase power block spare part for Siemens SINAMICS S120 high-power motor module. It is used to replace single U, V or W phase power unit of the inverter.

It supports DC bus voltage 510~750V, rated current 985A. The module surface adopts painting treatment and nickel-plated busbars to improve conductivity and anti-corrosion performance. It is only the power stage component, matched with original S120 control board, cooling system and backplane. It is widely used for large rolling mill, hoist, extruder and heavy production line S120 drive system overhaul and spare replacement.

Working principle

The power block receives DC bus voltage, and converts DC into three-phase PWM AC output through internal IGBT power devices according to drive control signal.

Single-phase power block undertakes one phase current output task. After replacement, it needs to match the original drive control logic and perform pulse test to ensure phase sequence and current balance.

Onboard components

IGBT power chip set, drive trigger circuit, current sampling sensor, nickel-plated copper busbar, insulating substrate, cooling contact base.

LED indicators

No independent status LED. Fault information and running status are displayed on the S120 control unit or HMI.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

The power block itself has no independent diagnosis function. The S120 CU control unit detects overcurrent, short circuit, IGBT fault and temperature abnormality after power on.

Programming software

STARTER, SINUMERIK Engineering Tool, used for drive identification, pulse test, parameter download and fault diagnosis.

Installation

Strictly cut off DC bus and discharge capacitor completely before replacement. Align positioning hole and install the power block, fasten busbar bolts according to specified torque. After assembly, perform insulation test, pulse enable test and current balance check.

DC positive/negative busbar interface, AC phase output busbar, trigger signal ribbon cable socket, temperature feedback terminal.

Diagnostic

F023 overcurrent: Power block IGBT breakdown, short circuit inside phase. Phase current unbalance: Busbar loose contact, sampling sensor offset. Pulse fault: Trigger cable loose, internal drive circuit damage. Over-temperature alarm: Poor contact between power block and cooling radiator.
