Module Feature

7MB2337-4AU80-6PT1-Z belongs to Siemens ULTRAMAT 23 series multi-component gas analyzer, 19-inch rack-mounted installation form.

It adopts non-dispersive infrared NDIR technology for infrared absorbing gas measurement, matched with electrochemical oxygen sensor. It can detect CO, CO2, NO, SO2, CH4 and other process gas components at the same time. It has sample gas flow monitoring, pressure compensation function, supports multiple signal output and fieldbus communication. Widely applied in environmental flue gas online monitoring CEMS, boiler exhaust, chemical process gas detection.

Working principle

Infrared light source emits specific spectrum, gas cell absorbs characteristic wavelength according to gas concentration, detector converts light signal into electrical signal.

The internal circuit calculates gas concentration after signal processing. The oxygen measurement unit uses electrochemical principle. When sample gas flow is abnormal or concentration exceeds alarm threshold, the analyzer triggers relay alarm output.

Onboard components

Infrared light source, optical gas cell, infrared detector, electrochemical oxygen sensor, sample gas flow sensor, main signal processing board, LCD display and keyboard, gas path switching assembly, relay output terminal.

LED indicators

Front panel LEDs indicate power, sample flow status, fault alarm, calibration status.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Power-on self-test and continuous diagnosis detect optical path fault, sensor failure, sample gas loss, temperature anomaly and internal hardware error, store fault codes.

Programming software

Siemens EAS software, used for component parameter setting, calibration, data recording and trend export.

Installation

Install inside analysis cabinet, connect sample gas pipeline according to gas flow direction, configure filter and condensation pretreatment unit before the analyzer.

Complete zero gas and span gas calibration after wiring, set alarm limit and output signal. Regularly check filter element and sensor aging status.

Sample gas inlet/outlet port, analog signal output terminal, relay alarm terminal, RS232/RS485 communication port, power supply terminal.

Diagnostic

Concentration reading drift: Need span calibration, optical window pollution. Flow fault alarm: Sample gas pipeline blockage or pump failure. Oxygen reading abnormal: Electrochemical oxygen sensor expired. No communication: Communication parameter mismatch or cable damage.
