Module Feature

6AV2124-0XC02-0AX0 is Siemens SIMATIC TP2200 Comfort series industrial touch HMI.

It adopts 21.5-inch TFT widescreen, 1920×1080 full HD resolution, touch-only operation mode. It supports WinCC Comfort engineering software for configuration, compatible with S7-1200, S7-1500, S7-300/400 PLC. Communication ports include PROFINET Ethernet, PROFIBUS DP and dual USB interfaces. Front panel IP65 protection grade, suitable for cabinet front mounting. It supports recipe management, alarm logging, trend curve and user authority management, commonly used as replacement spare for large automation control cabinet operation station.

Working principle

The HMI downloads visualization project from TIA Portal, establishes communication link with PLC via industrial bus.

It reads real-time process data, alarm information and equipment status from controller, displays on screen for operator monitoring. It receives touch operation command, sends setpoint and interlock signal back to PLC to realize manual control. Internal storage saves alarm history, trend data and recipe files.

Onboard components

TFT touch display assembly, main CPU board, flash memory module, PROFINET / PROFIBUS communication chip, USB interface circuit, 24VDC power isolation circuit, front protective film and metal mounting frame.

LED indicators

Installation

Cut cabinet panel according to drawing dimension, lock mounting clips evenly.

Wire 24VDC power and communication cable, download HMI project, set PLC communication address before commissioning.
