Feature & Principle

It is ABB IPS21 isolated DC power supply module, widely used for Unitrol generator excitation control system. It provides galvanic isolation between input and output to suppress ground loop interference and noise. It converts input voltage to stable 24VDC output for controller boards, signal circuits and auxiliary I/O. Built-in overvoltage, overcurrent and short-circuit protection circuits. This model is discontinued and commonly used as replacement spare in power plant excitation cabinets.
