Module Feature

3BHT200014R1211 is a dedicated local operation panel for ABB Procontrol P14 power plant distributed control system. It adopts panel-mounted metal housing, integrated LCD display and membrane function keyboard. It communicates with P14 station controller through dedicated backplane bus, supports real-time process value display, alarm list checking, breaker opening/closing, setpoint adjustment and sequence control commands. It is widely used on legacy thermal power, combined cycle and boiler control cabinets for spare replacement and maintenance retrofit.

Working principle

The panel receives process data, alarm messages and equipment status from the P14 station controller. When operator presses the function key, it sends operation instruction back to the controller for closed-loop control and interlock judgment. It refreshes screen data cyclically and gives alarm prompt when abnormal signals are received.

LCD display module, membrane keypad matrix, communication interface circuit, backplane connector, status LED array, auxiliary power circuit, metal front panel assembly.

Front LEDs indicate power supply, running communication status and new alarm reminder.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Installation

Install the panel into cabinet cutout and lock the mounting bracket. Connect 24V DC power and P14 backplane communication cable, verify keypad response and data refresh before commissioning.
