This unit is the mechanical and electrical base for backup battery 4943013‑2,battery is not supplied together with the unit. When main power is cut off,it supplies short‑term backup power for controller memory to protect user programs,process parameters and configuration data. Connect to controller via flat ribbon cable. Battery aging will lead to backup failure,program loss after power failure. Widely used for maintenance of old‑generation Advant series DCS sites.
