Products Description

ABB AF1350-30 Power Contactor Unit

Module Feature

AF1350-30 is the large-capacity 3-pole contactor of ABB AF series.

It adopts universal wide-range coil technology, stable pull-in under large control voltage fluctuation. Rated AC-1 current 1350A, AC-3 475kW@400V, suitable for fan, pump, compressor, crusher and main distribution circuit switching. It can be matched with thermal relays and auxiliary contacts for complete motor control and protection scheme.

Working principle

When control coil is energized, electromagnetic mechanism pulls main contacts closed to switch on three-phase load.

When coil loses power, main contacts open to cut off load circuit. The contactor itself does not provide overcurrent protection, needs to cooperate with external protective components.

Onboard components

Main silver alloy contact assembly, arc extinguishing chamber, electromagnetic coil, iron core, auxiliary contact socket, wiring terminal block.

LED indicators

No built-in LED, status indication depends on matched auxiliary contacts or external HMI.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

No onboard self-diagnosis, contact adhesion, coil burnout and phase anomaly are detected by upper control and protection circuit.

Programming software

ABB Engineering Tool, used for circuit logic design and system commissioning.
