Feature & Principle

It is a medium voltage feeder protection and control terminal from ABB REF541 series. It collects current and voltage signals from CT/PT, executes protection algorithms such as overcurrent, earth fault, overvoltage and undervoltage. It can realize breaker control, interlock logic and fault recording with internal programmable PLC function. It supports SPA, Modbus and IEC61850 (with adapter) for data interaction with SCADA system. It is applicable to isolated neutral, resonant earthed distribution networks, also for motor and capacitor bank protection.
