Details

This is the Alstom MiCOM P241 intelligent motor protection relay. It collects three-phase electrical signals from CT and VT in real time, and adopts thermal model to simulate motor heating status. It supports thermal overload, locked rotor, phase loss, phase unbalance, earth fault, overcurrent and undervoltage protection functions. It also provides motor start-stop control, electrical measurement, sequence of event logging and fault waveform capture. Parameters can be set locally via front panel or remotely through communication bus to SCADA system. It outputs trip and alarm signals once fault detected to prevent motor winding damage.
