Module Feature

SRT6KXLTW belongs to APC Smart-UPS SRT series double-conversion online uninterruptible power supply. It is the factory serviced / exchange version of SRT6KXLT, tower form factor, rated 6000VA / 6000W single phase, 208V nominal voltage.

It continuously supplies high-quality sine-wave power to load regardless of mains fluctuation. Built-in automatic and manual maintenance bypass allows online maintenance without powering down critical equipment. It supports SmartSlot expansion for network management card, environmental monitoring and MODBUS communication. It is widely deployed in data center servers, industrial PLC cabinets, test instruments and substation control loads.

Working principle

AC mains is rectified to DC to charge internal battery bank, then inverter converts DC back to stabilized pure sine AC output to load. When mains fails, battery supplies DC power to inverter instantly without transfer gap. If UPS internal fault occurs, static bypass switches load directly to raw mains.

Onboard components

Rectifier module, IGBT inverter power stage, battery pack, static bypass relay, control DSP board, HMI display and keypad, SmartSlot expansion slot, surge suppression circuit.

LED indicators

Front panel LEDs indicate mains normal, battery mode, overload, fault and bypass status.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Power-on self-test and continuous monitoring detect battery low, overload, over-temperature, inverter fault, DC bus anomaly and internal hardware failure. Event logs can be read via network management.

Programming software

APC PowerChute Business Edition, EcoStruxure Power, used for shutdown configuration, alarm notification, event log and firmware upgrade.

Installation

Place in ventilated cabinet, avoid heat source and dust accumulation. Connect protective earth first. Configure shutdown sequence and alarm threshold in PowerChute. Perform periodic battery self-test.

Diagnostic
