Feature & Principle

It is Balluff Micropulse BTL5 series rod magnetostrictive linear position sensor. It works based on magnetostrictive principle. The moving floating magnet is connected with the moving part of equipment. The sensor detects the time difference of elastic wave transmission to calculate the absolute position of the magnet. Non-contact detection, no mechanical friction and wear, long service life. DEXB digital signal output, strong anti-interference, can directly communicate with PLC for real-time position acquisition and closed-loop control.
