Feature & Principle

It is a compact integrated eddy current proximity sensor of Bently Nevada PROXPAC XL series. The probe and proximitor circuit are integrated in one housing, removing the need for an extension cable. It works based on eddy current principle: the coil emits high-frequency alternating magnetic field, eddy current is induced on the metal target surface, and the coil impedance variation reflects the clearance between probe and shaft. It outputs vibration and gap signal directly to the 3500 monitoring rack, supports on-site gap adjustment, suitable for limited installation space of turbines and compressors.
