Eaton P300 Industrial Pressure Switch Unit

Module Feature

P300 belongs to Eaton P series heavy-duty mechanical pressure switch. It adopts diaphragm or piston sensing structure to detect fluid pressure. Equipped with SPDT single-pole double-throw electrical contact, adjustable actuation and reset pressure threshold. Rugged metal housing for industrial environment, high vibration resistance. When pipeline pressure reaches preset value, the mechanical contact triggers switching signal for alarm, pump start/stop or interlock control. Widely used for hydraulic power units, compressor stations, water treatment and industrial fluid pipeline pressure monitoring.

Working principle

Process pressure acts on internal sensing element (diaphragm/piston). When pressure reaches set trigger value, mechanical force overcomes spring tension to move contact assembly and switch electrical state. When pressure drops below reset threshold, spring pushes sensing element back and contacts return to original state.

Metal housing, pressure sensing diaphragm/piston, calibration spring, SPDT contact block, pressure adjustment screw, threaded process port, electrical terminal chamber.

LED indicators

No built-in LED indicators.

Hardware self-diagnosis

Visual inspection of external leakage, test contact switching action, calibrate pressure setpoint, check spring fatigue and contact burning.

Installation

Follow strict fluid system safety procedure before handling.Thread switch onto pipeline pressure tap.Connect wiring inside electrical terminal chamber, adjust pressure trigger setpoint. Test switching action against reference pressure gauge before commissioning.
