100G-LR-QSFP10 is Extreme original 100G QSFP28 single lambda transceiver. Compatible with Extreme Summit and VSP series switches with QSFP28 slots. Supports DOM real-time monitoring of optical power, temperature, supply voltage and bias current. Widely used for data center interconnection, enterprise core 100G long-distance singlemode fiber links.

Function

100G-LR-QSFP10 converts 100G PAM4 electrical signal into optical signal for single-mode fiber transmission, single wavelength 1310nm, 10km transmission distance. DOM function can read real-time working parameters of the transceiver. This module is used for 100G point-to-point singlemode fiber interconnection between core switches and data center sites. Host FEC must be activated for reliable link performance.

Installation

Wear ESD anti-static wrist strap. Insert the QSFP28 module fully into the QSFP28 port of switch. Connect LC singlemode fiber patch cord. Enable FEC on the switch port. Power on the equipment, verify module identification, DOM optical power reading and link status via switch CLI before commissioning.
